For me, all of the verses are secondary to that beat, but the video has some pretty fantastic moments.

Of note:

- The intro with Mac Dre’s mom is unexpected and quite touching.

- “Tunechi” at 2:30.

Those aside, the icing on this thizz cake comes from Mistah F.A.B (which btw, stands for Money Is Something to Always Have — FaEva Afta Bread), who is rocking a yellow phone as an accessory. That is literally OFF THE HOOK!!!

Well hello there! Happy December y’all. Some major life changes have caused my hiatus, but I’m back… and with a strong ponytail to boot. Monsieur Karl’s pony is especially special because it’s his signature. When you see a flash of that silver mane, you know fashion is in the House, honey! On StyleLikeU, I saw the videos for Fatima Robinson and Rashida Robinson – two ladies who can dress!

These videos in particular made me really think about how powerful fashion can be as a tool to not only express personal taste, but also experiences and memories.

I was so inspired by Fatima’s originality that I immediately felt the need to create something after watching her video!

And Rashida’s matador-chic outfit absolutely slayed me.

They both have traveled extensively, and they get to wear those experiences through their eclectic jewelry collections. I don’t know either of these women, but their clothes just seem so them.

With that observation, I set about constructing a personal style challenge. I’m still figuring out the terms/steps/rules or what have you, but the end goal is to have everything in my closet be 110% a representation of me.

I should note, that this isn’t the first time I’ve tried to do this, and its still a process of uncovering what it is I want to express through clothes.

I feel like some of my friends came out the womb with a perfect sense of self- representation. To me, it’s still a lofty but worthwhile goal.
